Amy Bohlander, PhD is a licensed psychologist who works with young people and their families. She offers 3 main services in her private practice:

1. Individual Therapy

Dr. Bohlander specializes in treating Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in kids, teens, and young adults. She enjoys helping her clients learn skills to manage excessive worry, intense fears, avoidance behaviors, perfectionism, and high levels of stress.

She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical, skills-based approach that helps individuals recognize and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns to improve their well-being. She tailors this approach to each client’s unique needs, incorporating Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help individuals gradually face their fears, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which emphasizes psychological flexibility and values-based actions.

Dr. Bohlander also has a particular interest and specialty in treating Anxiety & OCD in neurodivergent populations and enjoys adapting evidence-based practices to support young people navigating:
